About me
I bring 30 years of professional and personal experience to my work. I have extensive professional counselling experience working with couples, families, individuals and adolescents. I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and specialist Couple and Family Therapist.
I have worked in a range of specialist therapeutic services including Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Secondary schools, Relationships Australia as-well as in Private Practice.
My personal style as a Counsellor is warm and interactive and I work in a collaborative manner ensuring a safe and non judgemental space.
I am passionate about my work and bring my life experiences into my professional practice.

Individual Therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client that aims to improve the clients quality of life and facilitate change. Therapy can help you overcome obstacles, as well as learn skills for handling difficult situations, make healthy choices and decisions and working towards your goals. Many people enjoy the therapeutic process of becoming more self aware and develop a greater understand of ones self.

Family Therapy
Family therapy provides a safe environments for families and those in close relations to find ways to work through problems. Family therapy uses the resources of the family to develop new ways of contributing to the solution and find different ways of understanding and interacting with one another. The family may be seen as a whole or an individual alone or with particular family members.

Adolescent Therapy
Adolescent Therapy is aimed at young people to help them make sense of their feelings, behaviour and thoughts. I work with young people to help them understand the causes of their distress and to develop coping skills to assist them. The therapeutic process gives them the opportunity to express difficult or confused feelings in a safe environment with clear boundaries.
